Piaggio Vespa

The first mass produced and globally sold scooter, the Vespa badge adorned 89 different variants since its introduction in 1946. Some of the differences in the model range are difficult to spot and often, but not always, technical rather than visual. Each model went through several versions till the end of its production.

Vespas were produced mainly in Italy but also under licence around the world in many countries.

Although the P-Range was the last two stroke, manually geared scooter offered, Piaggio continue to produce a large selection of four stroke, automatic scooters for the mass market.
